Centering Vise
Centering vises are among HiCo Hartmann’s core solutions. The company offers both standard centering vises with customer-specific accessories and custom versions for special applications. These include, for example, base jaws for interchangeable, diameter-specific jaws, oil supply through the base surface, position monitoring under protective covers, and additional accessories such as height-adjustable support rests, travel measuring systems, or central lubrication connections. Hydraulic centering vises with height adjustment, high clamping forces, and use in machining centers are also part of the product range. In this way, HiCo Hartmann creates solutions for precise, safe, and process-oriented clamping.
Customer-Specific Clamping Fixtures
HiCo Hartmann develops custom clamping fixtures for a wide range of workpieces and machining tasks. The company designs and manufactures solutions for passenger car crankshafts, truck rear axles, trailer hitches, double pump housings, and railway axles, among others. These solutions include, for example, double clamping fixtures with pre-loading stations, radial and axial alignment using centering vises, hydraulically actuated stops, adjustable elements, and interchangeable parts for different sizes. HiCo Hartmann precisely adapts each solution to the workpiece, process, and application, creating clamping fixtures that operate safely and prove themselves in practical use.
Floating Clamping
Floating clamping solutions are also part of HiCo Hartmann’s product range. The company designs and manufactures floating clamping fixtures for pistons used in passenger cars, trucks, and combined heat and power units, for example. HiCo Hartmann aligns the workpiece using a piston-specific locating mandrel with spring-loaded elements that adapt to the internal contour. First, the piston is positioned in a floating manner with low pressure; it is then clamped with high pressure. A hold-down device and a multi quick coupling for pallet-changing machines complete the fixture. In this way, HiCo Hartmann precisely adapts its clamping technology to specific machining steps and demanding manufacturing processes.
Clamping Fixtures for Test Benches
HiCo Hartmann also offers centric clamping fixtures for test benches. The company develops clamping fixtures for pump test benches, enabling hydraulic pumps and hydraulic motors to be securely clamped. Alignment is carried out centrically on the flange. For series-production test benches, HiCo Hartmann uses hydraulic clamping; for repair test benches, manual bolting is used. Solutions are available for flange diameters of up to 600 mm, pump weights of up to 1,000 kg, and drive torques of up to 5,000 Nm. In addition, HiCo Hartmann realizes further designs by arrangement, demonstrating technical flexibility in this area as well.
